Joe Inniss
Joe has worked for 14 years in engineering and management consulting. He has a wealth of experience developing people, tools and processes - bringing different business functions together to better deliver their objectives.
Personable, articulate, and confident, Joe is passionate about helping people be at their best so that they can deliver their best work.
Within his career in engineering Joe delivered graduate mentoring, and supported colleagues of all levels with routes to membership of engineering professional institutes. Joe also provides one on one coaching.
Joe is hard working, with a diverse range of interests and professional experience.
In his last role as Head of Asset Management for HS1, Joe was responsible for the overall system of asset management for approximately £6bn of physical assets. With a team of 20 people, this was a leadership position within HS1 reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
A successful entrepreneur, Joe co-founded a successful indy-publishing company with over 35,000 physical copy sales globally, since 2014. Joe also co-founded a tech start-up that builds tools to help people understand the quality, flavour, origin, and value of soft commodities (like coffee).
Joe is passionate about the community where he lives, has been a political activist for over a decade and is the diversity officer for a political local party.
He has studied martial arts his whole life, currently training in Kickboxing, and previously trained in Ninjutsu, Wing Chun Wushu, Western Boxing, Muay Thai and Taekwondo. Joe loves running, swimming and cycling and has competed in two triathlons. Joe is also passionate about Music. He co-founded the blog ‘Zoyland Music’ in 2017, which has contributors from around the world, and loves to wind down by playing the drums, guitar or piano.
